I wanted to address this first. The two stars I've knocked off from my review of this version of the game are solely on whoever let the localizers fill the script with unnecessary question marks at the end of statements, "cowfee" and "jebait". I absolutely loved the first Evenicle, Yaegashi Nan being an artist worth coming (back) for, I eagerly grabbed this game. It has the same familiar control scheme with some QoL improvements and some extra layers of rpg elements like another equip slot and wider scope of stat utilization, while not letting the player get too OP with some skill loadout limitations this time around. I could see myself returning to the game to try different build paths. The story this time feels a little rushed to hold onto continuity, but that's hardly the main reason I'm playing this game in the first place. It does well enough to flesh out the overarching story from the first one further. I fell in love with a new set of protagonists that didn't come off too corny or predictable. There's also a well appreciated cameo. The H scenes, while a bit silly, are playfully erotic while meaning to be. I do see how this just rides on 'too hot' for other platforms.
