This little add-on (DLC) is pretty cool. Gotta give it 5 stars for what it is. A bunch more casting baits with a name brand stamped on. I don't suppose you really need it for the game but hey, if you're a fisherman like I am, why not? It's on sale as of this writing so it is worth it. Go for it! I recommend it. :-)
The most important thing missing is the 'feel'. I have no idea how to make that happen but it sure is missing! (When the fish bites, when the pole jerks, when the line drags, you know what I mean, The 'Feel' of the fish!) Other than that it's just a fishing game. My PC is not online so I can't comment on that aspect but, what you do is, stand on a bank or in a boat, throw your line in the water and wait for a fish to grab the hook. It's pretty simple. Success is about 99%. There's no excitement in the game because of the lack of feeling. It is fairly realistic tho. You can level up and buy more and better tackle as you play. It isn't a bad game, there just isn't much to it. Maybe if you entered an online tournament with an online PC. That may get the juices going. I do recommend it if you like to fish.
