This game is not what they promised us. It is not an RPG. Cyberpunk 2077 is closest to Farcry that wants to be GTA, will a splash of Deus Ex. That may sound good to some. But the end result is one word "SHALLOW". The most disappointing aspect of this game is everything that is missing. Not only are promised features missing. But it seems the Lead devs missed the entire point of Cyberpunk. This is not an RPG. They couldn't even focus on the correct character. Johnny Silverhand, while cool, completely derails away from the main character. Who might that be? It's suppose to be Night City! A true RPG would have let us explore Night City and make our own story within it. Instead we get a completely disposable protagonist. Literally. Johnny immediately steals the show. All of Vs relationships get sidelined by Johnny. I completed every mission and cleared the entire map. The main story is laughably short. About 1/3 through clearing the map I got a warning saying this is the last mission. There isn't enough variety of content in this game, period. The majority of this game is repetitive copy and paste quests. And this worries me. Even if CDPR fixes the bugs. There is no way they can overhaul the entire story, quests, and world. It would take years. SPOILERS V is disposable. In every ending V dies. And he/she does it before you might realize. Anyone who has played Soma knows where I am going. When Alt rips your soul, she is actually making a digital copy. Then putting the COPY back into your body. V the one you played the games as, is dead the moment Alt uses Soul Ripper on him. While disappointing that V always dies, it serves to prove my point. The Devs wanted Johnny to be the main character. He steals the show and prevents us from having our own story. All endings are depressing and unsatisfying. I should never leave a game saying "I don't want to experience that again". Please rebuild this game. Make it what you promised. Please. RIP Jackie.
