This game has unique and beautiful visuals with great sound design and soundtrack. I also liked the puzzles, that were challenging enough but not to a point that I would get frustrated. The story is actually very solid and like setting of the story as well and the way it unravels. As for the technical side of things, I've got no complaints whatsoever, the game ran flawlessly on my system.
The 3rd. and so far last piece of the Black Mirror story. The visuals are beautiful, the soundtrack and sound design are both very mature and the gameplay is very modern, compared to the previous two games, with autosave feature. The puzzles are also nice, a bit more challenging but still simple enough so you don't get stuck. To be honest though, I did not enjoy the last bits of the game where you play with two characters.
A beautiful adventure with entertaining puzzles and interesting environments. A bit short if you asked me, without any help it took me 9 hours and 15 minutes to finnish it, exploring everything I could, but still it was worth it. It also ran great on my system (W11, r7 9700X, 4070TS). A remake done right, I say. Solid 4 out of 5 stars.
A very well-made sequel to the first game, with improved visuals yet being faithful to the original artistic style. The gameplay and soundtrack are also improved, no more pixel hunting, plus the game devs. added autosafe feature, so even if you forget to save your progress as you go, no more game over moments like they were in the first game.
Very enjoyable story telling, nice visuals for the time and even today, with mediocre gameplay. I like the game, however it can be very frustating, because some bits are very cryptic and it's got more than a plenty of game over moments, so save your progress as you go. *Back in 2003, I had to start over after being halfway through the game, because I made an unfortunate save right after I made a mistake and couldn't carry on. The game doesn't even give you any hints, not even in the moments that decisive moments that can mean game over. To be honest, these days I would just download save files of someone else and carry on from the point of my mistake. ALSO, do not forget the right click mouse button.
I've just finished the game and must say, the visuals, environments, sound design, level design even the light puzzles were all great and the dual world element does add to uniqueness of the game. As for the story, it is quite fresh and well paced with a good amount of plot twists (SPOILER - the ending feels open, are we going to get a sequel?). As for the technical aspect, the optimization is not ideal. The game does look beautiful, the ray tracing does work nicely, DLSS does its thing as well I suppose, but the frame rate just isn't consistent through out the game, even on RTX 4070 Ti Super. Thinking this is a Nvidia sponsored game, I would expect much better performance form an Nvidia RTX 40 series card. That being said, I would still recommend this game to anyone who likes adventure horror games with some light puzzles and action scene here and there.
