No, seriously, don't do it. The game is really old and it hasn't aged well, the controls and the camera are annoying and it is not funny to be always frustrated. Now a days there are much better plataformers out there with decent controls. If you loved this game whn you were younger, it is better to leave it as a good memory, by playing it you may ruin that memory.
Now it is really fun and it has a lot of things to do, if you like space games, you should give it a try
