I have played this game since the closed beta and I can say the Gwent team is not afraid of changing stuff around, which is great, because they really try to create the best possible card game game. And this is not easy without having a blueprint (like Magic for most online card games). This is also the main reason for the bad reviews, because some people don't like change and not all of it was good. But they are not afraid of reverting stuff either, if it isn't fun, healthy or worse than before. That being said, graphics are great, sound is nice, gameplay is really good and the game is quite generous on top of that. My favourite card game so far (second or maybe even first would be duelyst, but that game is kinda dead) and I've played a lot (Hearthstone, Magic, Faeria, Duelyst, Eternal, Shadowverse to name a few). So give it a try and see for yourself! Good luck!
