This games is over 25 years old now, but it's still a blast. Had the luxury of growing up with a computer nerd/Trekkie for a dad so I experienced this first decades ago. It's so nice to go back in time and play it again as an adult. Such a fun old game to spend a weekend in. It's a must play for any fans of Star Trek or older FPS games!
I had high hopes for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. As a veteran of these games, and one that followed the original development over a decade ago, this game is more than I could've ever hoped for. It still has plenty of quirks that GSC is working on ironing out, but they're actively listening to and talking with the community all over: On YouTube and Reddit it's most visitble. It's impressive to see how they're accepting feedback so willingly and they've already announced a patch is coming shortly. I'm glad to have kept following GSC and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for almost 20 years, and I'll keep following them now. Best game of 2024.
