Well, I'm writing my opinion and I don't care the dislikes it or if someone won't like it, but unfortunately I have to write it down. The basic idea is very good, the story is interesting and great, interesting characters, all the creatures look very good, there is really a lot of fantasy in it. But unfortunately, it makes the same mistakes as many other games, and it seems that there were some not really sane people among the developers. 1. I would like to ask (and this is a huge mistake especially in the orc campaign) that if I am the attacker, the leader of the invasion army, the invader, then why are I must defend? Why do they (the defenders) attack and I (the attacker) defend? This does not make sense. The game is completely unplayable, even on easy levels, based on the extremely disproportionate number of people and the "there is always a ready-made answer" enemy principle. 2. The damage and defenses are completely disproportionate. A goblin horde defeats a group of armored elite knights. Sure, good joke. Archers, mages, siege weapons (!!!) can only shoot from a distance of 0.5 m, while the opponent shoots from wherever he wants? 3. The gold and silver placements are particularly funny. After all this time, with such few units vs legions of the armies of the enemy? I am honestly upset and sad because I expected much better. If the developers read this, they'd better take my advice: Never make a game like this again. And I'm writing this so that I know what games have been developed and there are excellent ones among them.

I loved every part of it, I really enjoyed playing and the story is brilliant! I don't agree with those before me, maybe it's better if they exaggerate the difficulty of a game and make it unplayable? This happened the Heroes III as well. Need a challenge? Go to the dark souls! But this game is for people who want a great story, who want to play it easy, enjoying it all. This series and the Immortal Hero gave me that, which I am happy about.

I think the creators either replace a few people or think about a couple of things right away (I add them, they won't happen because we are talking about game developers). Let's start with the positives because it is less. The targeting system has improved somewhat, the maps give the Vietnamese atmosphere well, and the units look very good. I liked the Russian-Vietkong campaign, although there were problems on the first course, but later, it was completely acceptable. Especially the second and third maps were great, give me back the old Soldiers mood. I want to write here that the music of the game is simply fantastic, especially the combat music is amazingly good. Unfortunately, that was the positive, the negatives. Serious, a lot of problems. An RPG only blow up a helicopter? We are talking about one of the strongest rocket launches of that age. Still, no vehicle is destroyed, just damaged. When it comes to helicopters, they are very buggy. The main problem, however, is that the American campaign and the bonuses are not at all entertaining, annoying and ridiculous like the Allied campaigns in the Assault Squad. The first map is to go here and then there, oh, this was missed, oops another task, it's ridiculous. And the first bonus map is completely pathetic because, as I wrote, the rocket launcher does not destroy anything except the helicopter. It starts in the right direction, but we are the same. I don't think we should finally deal with boring formations and reality chanting, but to return to the well -functioning things. I'm sorry, who liked the game I wish all of you more fun, but that wasn't what I wanted. So I won't be good -hearted, this game gets what it deserve.
Loved it, great game! The British campaign was a bit difficult and annoying, but it can be done. All the other campaigns were great though, I also enjoyed the skirmish levels. This game deserves praise, once you learn it, it's a joy to play. Men of War: Assault Squad is a big disappointment in comparison.

Seriously, this "game" is a huge disappointment. The targeting system is pathetic, the enemy knows everything, it's annoying, frustrating, by the time you finish a level your hair will turn gray. Soldiers: Heroes of World War was fantastic but this is not a game. Shame on the creators for turning that great game into this horror. Be glad that I am not demanding my money back.
