Every decision you make will contribute to you success against the final boss, the rebel flagship. Now that you finish the base game, I recommend trying two amazing mods. The game is too easy? Try captain edition. This mod add more encounters, players and enemy ships, new area to explore, and difficulty spike. The other mod is the multiverse. Without spoiling too much, this mod continue the story after the defeat of the rebel flagship. Basically a whole new game and is considered the squeal to the game made by fan.
