This game's every bit as fun now as it was back in the day. It's got a plethora of automation options so you can be hands-off or micro-manage as much or as little as you please. The sci-fi theming is very atmospheric. My only complaint is certain sound effects often don't play correctly for me, especially when clicking UI elements. Hopefully GOG can fix this port so I can give this game the 5 stars it deserve.
cause it needs it. I've played 5.5 hours and crashed three times. GOG might need to look into better compatibility settings with modern hardware for this game. Running Win11 64x AMD with Nvidia GPU. Otherwise, solid game. Not as grandiose as later titles, but it knows what it wants to be and it does it well, bar the crashes. Sometimes the UI gets unwieldy and it lacks many minor QOL features that would make it much more managable, both from a convenience POV and a data standpoint.
