The Sinking City Artbook & OST

Artbook & OST now on GOG!

It took a bit for me to get into this game, and yes the game can be a bit repetitive, but once I got into it, I loved it and I was hooked until I completed it 100%! The Artbook & OST are wonderful companions to relive the fantastic atmosphere of this game. Once you purchase, the items will be available as Downloads under The Sinking City. The soundtrack is available for download in 3 formats, MP3 (160 MB), WAV (610 MB), and FLAC (250 MB). The Artbook is a PDF and despite the large file size (821 MB for 162 pages), it has kind of a low resolution with pixelated text. The inflated file size comes from the formatting at 26.67x20 inches, but using low resolution source images as mentioned, with pre-rendered (and thus pixelated) text. As a designer myself, unfortunately I think the designer here maybe wasn't as experienced, the metadata shows they used a random PDF program to make this, it wasn't InDesign for example. The art is simply beautiful, and I really wish it had been supplied as high resolution separate PNG files instead, so that I could use and enjoy each art piece full size as wallpaper. I saved all the art that was posted on the website for this game... I can never get enough game art! There is a lot of art to enjoy here... it's just not as nicely presented as it could have been. I want to address one point that other reviews are inaccurate about. This was never part of the Deluxe Edition, and it's a separate purchase on Steam as well. The GOG game page for the game clearly lists which DLC are INCLUDED in the Deluxe Edition, but there is a separate list in the side column for which DLC are AVAILABLE for the game. Look carefully at the games page, and don't confuse the two lists. I am more than happy to support the developer with my purchase for this item because I loved the game and because of all the publishing problems they had with this game. I can't wait for Sinking City 2!

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director’s Cut

We need the non-DC

SludgeSlave's review is absolutely correct. I played the original game when it was first released, and it was a masterpiece. Unfortunately, the DC has too many changes (such as color shift, lighting, bloom, and more), and the original was superior. If you've only played the DC, you haven't had the real DX:HR experience. Please GOG, please bring the original version of this game. I will buy it again because it's just that good.
