Amazing game, played it a bunch of times, but whatever they did to it broke it. The 2025 experience of playing this is open game, crash, open game, crash, open game crash. I can't even play an hour without a fucking crash. Apparently hair works and anti aliasing is one of the causes, but like, its been so long, maybe don't bother making Witcher 4 if you still need to fix past entries. If you can push past the issues it's a great game, but honestly you are gonna need a lot of patience.
I got to Witcher 1 late, but man this game really holds up as an RPG all timer. It has some annoying boss fights, and you have to learn the rythem of the combat, but ohterwise this game excells at the Witcher fantasy more than the others. I may like 3 a bit more, but 3 wishes it went this hard into Swordplay, alchemy, and interesting Monster hunts. 9/10, would be a 10 but sadly the Bargeist boss fight exists.
Open game crash, load game crash, try and fix game crash. over 5mins in the open world crash. The fact that they are saying you only need a Gog/downgraded copy and just this mod is a lie. This game needs so much work to get running it's not even funny, and frankly after enough time workshoping it and trying to salvage my 7hr run idk if I even wanna continue.
