still after all those years it holds up. not an easy smash and button mashing like witcher3. but some real RPG game that makes you think what to do and how to do it. nothing is set, everything is up to the player as it should be in an RPG!
Man just give them all the rewards for game of the year etc. The very much deserve this. Anyways love the game and put in hours and hours already. I just cant stop!! To the devs, excellent job and to the people who dont like it, its prolly not the game for you. You can just go to the pay to win games you used to.
Well, finally they did something that not even blizzard could. Make a warcraft great again! Dont mind the people who say its too hard and give it a 1 star... the game is great, just git gud. Unfortunally it seems people dont like to have a challange anymore. But i hope we get more of this! maybe with better graphics but more of this please.
I just can not recommend this game anough. Its a proper RPG that you can do whatever you want and the surroundings act upon what you have done unlike other RPG's we been spoonfed for the last decade. Thanks for KCD to show how to make a proper one!
Hi people, I have now more than 150hours into this game. And its pretty addicting, first tip... dont open the box when you are low level. Try to open it as 40 that the gear is also level up (at least some of it) Second join their discord, very friendly people who help you with problems and the devs are on to help you out there as well. Gameplay : Gameplay is what you expect in a more mmo-isch style game. Loads of side quest with a mainstory. It rewards the ones who do all the exploring with hidden doors and tresures and extra buffs. And there are a lot of sidequests. Iam not sure i have done em all, although it feels i did, but as soon you did the main quest/sidequest its back to grinding mobs and do the repeat quest. And at that time its getting a bit boring. But than again you are 150plus hours in. So well worth your money. Also if you have this game already, iam not sure you are getting something extra out it though. From other reviewers i seen online it was exactly the same with a little difference to the orginal, so dont count on a remake or something like that. Still bugs in this game some fun and some just crashes your game to desktop. So save often or at least before you do something importent :) To be short i enjoyed the game even it was a oldie, but for some odd reason i missed it back in the day. Glad it had a second chance. I can recommend this to anyone who liked fable, i think that is the closest game that comes to this. have fun
I did like the first one and missed the coop experience the most modern games now miss. Mixed this with wang comments you have a great time. Only thing that prevents it for me giving 5 stars is you need either get it on galaxy or on steam to be able to play with your buddies. For me that is a letdown, and force you into a DRM. That is why i buy my games on GOG.com.
I didnt buy this game at GoG i already played it back than. So here it goes... this game is okay not really as good as the older settlers 1 or 2. i had personally more enjoyment in there. If anything go for settlers 2 10th. its a great game and you get tons of enjoyment out of it.
Only the worse thing about this game is the resolution. would be awesome to have it in higher resolution. If they can fix that ill give them 5 stars! Great turnbased game if you into that kinda games.
