I was really surprised how much this game just blew past my expectations. I can't wait to get further in the campaign and see what all of the other biomes are like. We had some minor issues getting coop working initially, at this time there's only proper service for Steam, if you are on GOG or Epic the host has to port forward and others join via a console command (the command is [connect "IPHERE"] without the brackets, ip in quotes), but that wasn't a major hurdle once we figured it out, and the official Discord was really helpful. My friend was showing me this game and said it was something like "Simple factorio, with Mechs and tons of weapons", and it is so much more. The combat is just amazing. There is so much choice with your loadout with the weapon variety, even early in the game you will have plenty of choices. Those tech trees for research just made my jaw drop when I first saw them. The other thing that blew me away is how pretty this game is. The environment feels so alive, there is constant movement of the native animals, color of wild plants and mushrooms, noises of the alien world all while you're stomping through your character has conversations with the mech, "Mr. Riggs", about your mission on the planet. There are these carrion bugs that will swarm corpses and nibble them away, moving from the consumed piles to those that still remain. All of it in motion is fluid sensory candy that I'm groking by the gallon. If you like automation games/grand campaign coop games this one is amazing.
