I had a lot of expectations for this after playing the first one (twice back to back I liked it so much). But sadly this game is severely lacking. This is a simplistic shooting gallery (with only three different ennemies) with barrely any puzzles and a trite and overplayed story. And if it wasn't for the test of boredom that is the last encounter (no there are no boss fights) I would have given it one more star. Seeing as only 8.9% have finished the and only 0.7% on Hardcore (which wasn't really challenging to begin with), I'm probably not the only one who expected more.
Overall this is a good game. I've played only the director's cut. As a sequel this is an inferior product to the first one, but the story though really not in line with the original is still quite interesting. I think I got a bug that prevented me from accessing some puzzles but I was able to brute force my way to the end.
