Although I typically don't play this type of game, it was free at the time so I jumped right in. It frustrated me to no end that I couldn't play the game with a keyboard since the controls were wonky and awkward. It was also unresponsive at times. However I come with a solution! Use a controller if you can. When you boot the game up, use the arrow keys to traverse to the game options and then using the controller press any button and game should syncronize with controller.
