The gameplay and randomness of it adds just enough variety to seldom get boring at a casual level, and the customisation, as well as the level editor right out of the box give infinite enjoyment for those wanting to pour over it a little more, which doesn't take much time or effort at all. The online features packaged within add even more replayability and variation, and there is still somewhat of a playerbase. The gameplay is so accessible that an actual worm of this world could probably play it, yet it can be mastered, and time spent developing skill certainly pays off.
