I'll start by saying the game worked for me day-one, I also had it day-one and on pre-order. I've never been happier with a game as I have with CP2077 and the PL dlc. I actually got more glitches the more patches got added to fix others' copies of the game. That being said, it's still one of my all-time favs, and it's working near-flawlessly now. I come back to it a few times a year when I just need that cyberpunk itch that no other game can scratch! The stories are well written and inspired! I hope to be able to write as well as these stories were. The gameplay is nice and simple, which is great because the challenges are difficult if you don't know what you're doing! I love it! The game world itself is my absolute favorite out of all the games I've played. I frequently come back just to enjoy the world and nothing more. Driving around the city at night, or the desert, or the slums... pretty much all of it! I can't get enough and I wish there was more. I highly recommend this game to anyone, especially to fans of Cyberpunk as a genre. Don't listen to the nay-sayers, this game is absolutely worth your time! I can only hope the next one will be too, but we'll see.
I pre-ordered this game and have loved it ever since! While the updates were kinda spotty and sometimes did more harm than good, I love that the Devs keep updating it to keep it alive. If there's ever a sequel, I'll pre-order that one too. The stories and characters are top-tier! I've changed the way I write my own characters because of the sheer quality and effort that CDPR put into this game and the characters within. For example, back during the game's launch I experienced a glitch that had me looking all over a building to try and find out why an NPC had "jumped." The game has so much in it and so much to do, I thought it was a scripted event; I was disappointed it was not part of a side-story. I highly recommend this game to anyone that has the hardware to play it. It's an experience I recommend to everyone! I sincerely hope it goes down as one of the greatest achievements of the Cyberpunk genre. I don't recommend this game to anyone without a 1070 at least. The game -especially its visuals- suffer greatly without good hardware. Same goes for storage and ram, you'll need a WD Black (HDD with two read/write heads) or an SSD, it really does need that high speed transfere rate. For ram I recommend 16GB or higher at 3200Mhz, I use 32GB at that speed and it's worked fine since launch.
Poorly leveled NPCs. They're over-leveled for certain areas. I'm sure it's fine at higher levels, but so far at level 35 on hard-mode, it's a slog. I'm stuck in a room with next to no cover and a swarm of enemies. In many ways, there's a right and wrong way to complete this DLC. Kinda sad how little my choices affect the outcomes and how few options I have in combat. Very long stretches of scripted events that make no real difference to the overall experience. The NPCs won't just STFU; they got on my nerves quickly. Not even refering to the story content, they're aggrivating in combat. The one vehicle you can opt to take early in the quest is an absolute chore to drive. it's sluggish and hard to control. If it wasn't the fastest way to complete a specific section, I'd skip it. I might change or update this later, but right now, doing this DLC is more of a chore than than anything.
