I have been playing this game since I was a little kid. I used to watch over my dad's shoulder as he played. There is incredible nostalgia in this game for me, but it is also a great game. It is very accessible to those who don't play a lot of strategy games, but there is a decently high skill ceiling for those who like the genre. 9 distinct factions to play with, a powerful and satisfying magic system, a wide cast of fantasy creatures with which to build armies, 3 sets of long campaigns, many individual scenario maps and a decent random map gen that supports PVP. The game also has a great soundtrack, and art that stands the test of time. Highly recommended.
