Played all fallout games (beside 76 but that wasn't really a fallout game imo). This game have clearly taken insperation from the early fallout games and thats a good thing if you ask me - We need more of that :) If your into this game type I would recommend giving this a spin!
Have played this game some and while it's not perfect i haven't found it to be as bad as many of the old reviews portray like its a totally broken game - A rough start that seems to have been patched up to a workable state, sure a few minor bugs are left but so far all of them have been solvable. For the price asked (especially on sale) I think its several hrs of pretty good entertainment to be had if your into the management type of game. My 2 cents.
The game itself is kinda solid but it has a bunch of the typical flaws in this type of game, here are a couple of examples: * Escort missions where the escorted targets get destroyed on the first attack from so long range its darn near impossible to defend from unless you have a zillion mechs running at long ranges from the convoys so you get the attackers scooped before they are in LRM range. * Convoy attack missions where the targets your suppose to attack move so fast a typical mid mech barely keeps up at sprint speed (IE cant attack) and arer strong enought that the light fast mechs don't pack enough firepower to destroy them. Beside thoose kind of flaws the game is a turnbased version of mech warrior merchenaries with more current gfx.

A classic RTS from the days when RTS's were great (before the controller destruction of a grene thats not suitable for couch potatoes with an controller). Pros: TONS of different units TONS of campaign content AWESOME music GREAT gameplay (especially considering its age) WELL made modernisation (allows pretty much any resolution but high res can make it look weird in a couple of tiny maps like the first but after that its awesome) Cons: If your a couch potato gamer with a controller - Look elsewhere (Should be listed in Pro's really consaidering how gimpified most games that dont suit the controller style have become like shoters, rts's etc)
