Croc: The Legend of the Gobbos is one of the iconic 90's platformers, while never reaching the same heights as his contemporaries such as Mario, Sonic, Crash, Spyro. He has still had the benefit of being a cult classic, which makes it even more surprising to see him returning with a nice new face lift and some new knees. Argonaut Games have fixed one of the biggest issues that people had with the original game, the controls. No longer are we controlling the Croc shaped tank, we're now 3D Platforming like the best of them, left analog stick allows us to move 360 degrees on a whim, and the right analog stick controls the camera, if you're a masochist you can still use the tank controls by moving with the d-pad, but you won't catch me doing that. The music is still as catchy and fantasic as I remember it being all those years ago and the bosses still awkwardly just sit there after you defeat them and I don't think I would have it any other way. I recommend this to anyone that has nostalgia on the series and for those that are interested in seeing what a niche 3D Platformer could do back in the 90's.
