While Mission Vileaf (the first one) was way better, this was fine on its own and I did enjoy it. I played both on the Xbox Series X. I wasn't bored playing it but once I finished it, I didn't feel like getting all the upgrades anymore. The challenges were a bit too hard to ace on a controller since the game requires a lot of aiming. You'll be okay on computer. I still recommend this when it's on sale.
Loving the feeling of being back in earlier 2000s playing quality ARPGs! Inventory, items, buying/selling, feel of combat, effects, really well done. Some parts need work like the UI a bit and scaling. The main menu is small on 2K resolution, which is strange since this game is still receiving updates. The UI scaling only works for in-game, so I suppose it's fine, but the key binding, in options, is really small. Seems like something they can easily fix but don't want to. Also, when you click on an NPC to talk to them, your character goes through them and doesn't stop before them most times. Again, for a highly updated game, not sure why they left it like that. I wish there was a button that I can click to highlight everything that can be clicked on. They said they didn't do that to keep it immersive, but still.. I haven't played for many hours but so far really enjoying this and I am eager to continue with it.
Played this on Xbox Series X and had a blast. Lots of fun things to do. Maps are large with a lot to do in each one. It does feel a bit repetitive but not in the sense that makes you want to stop playing. I just needed a break for a day and then continue. It's a very fun game with so many accessories, and many of them have different power ups. I would play this again. We tried co-op mode but the camera needs work, but it still works.
