To start off, I enjoy diffcult games. I have beaten Seirko, Elden Ring, bloodborne and all the dark souls. The diffrence with those and this is I felt those where fair. The diffculty of this game is ridiculous pointed out below. This is based on a few hours of gameplay. Graphics: I love pixel games and the graphics and art style is very well done. Story: Interesting I kept playing for the story only. Gameplay: This is were it falls apart. The game is very repetive. Attack twice, dodge, attack with speical repeat. Your health bar is too small and get kill in 3 hits (sometimes). Health pickups seem rare and the ability to get a health point for using a special is almost useless. MINOR SPOLIERS: There is a section where you have to fight a group of creatures, each time you kill a creature a symbol quickly pops up, and you have to get 4 symbols to input them on the floor if you get it wrong the creatures return and you repeat, but the order changes. There is so much happening on screen it is hard to see the symbols much less remeber them. This is the problem with the game there are just some questionable gameplay choices that make the game harder than it should be. The dodge feels wild and you don't really learn how to fight things (like a souls game) instead you just two attacks then dodge. There is a warning but there are so many foes on screen it is hard to see. It makes the game tedious. Tech: The camera is a problem and shakes when walking in some areas, also it does follow the hero well. This more of an annoyance than a huge problem. With this I would have to give a 3/5 like the story, like the art style and graphics, not a fan of combat system. -- NOTE MINOR SPOLIERS; I have not found any other weapons and only still have starting weapon.
