I like this game. I played all Gothics and Risens and I can say this game is a little diferent but in any case it isn't bad at all as some players proclaim. I bought it in discount action so it is very worthy of this several dollars. Game works perfectly at Win 10 64bits withou any older compatibility activated. There are no bugs now, graphic is very nice even in this time in comparison with some other games. Locations are varied which is good and I like Tooshoo very much. Playing difficulty is just good for normal setting. But I have some reservations too here, for example there is no zoom in and out of hero in game I miss controling days and nights actions by sleeping and healing by sleeping, I miss swimming and even diving. Moving is free only partially and teleports could work differently all over the land. Dispite of all these minor drawbacks I can recommend it to all lovers of RPG game.
I like this game. I play it for the second time already as I played it several years ago when game was released. Now I bought it in weekend discount and I am glad I did it. It isn't perfect but I like open-world RPG games. I think it enetrains me more than Skyrim which started to bore me but it is a matter of opinion. I very appreciate GOG games because they are mostly cheap and first of all patched and without any stupid protections as Starforce is or was. Some people don't like this game and find at it some imperfections as bad NCP voises, strange handling , bad plot, plain quests and maybe not too nice graphics but I think it isn't quite so. For that reason I can recommend this game for all who like RPG games and a large open varied world.
I just bought this game anew from GoG.com several days ago. I have this game from the past already and played it a lot of years ago. When this game was released most people didn't have computers strong enough for its fluent playing. I play it now again from GOG and I like it very much. This game has great atmosphere and music. It is fuly patched so I don't have any problems with it. I have Win 7 64bit. I can highly recommend to buy and play it again after so many years. It still entertain me very much.
