Well, what can I say, I am a Panzergneral vet and Panzrkorps 2 scratches that itch very nicely. Yes, it's turn-based, yes there are hex-maps...and that's exactly what I want. Now, that being said, don't think "oh, hex-maps, this is like War in the East, way too complex for me. No it's not. Yes, there is complexity to the game but you can start playing right "out of the box" so to speak, and learn the nuances while playing.

This game is basically X-COM meets Victoria meets War in the Pacific...and I absolutely love it! Now, I am a guy who absolutely loves super complex strategy games like Aurora 4X, War in the Pacific or Rule the Waves and if those kind of games are right up your alley you will love TI. If, on the other hand, you prefere somewhat lighter strategy games, you might want to first wath a YT lets-play or three befor buying it.

Really liked the slow paced gameplay. I can go in with no opposition if I just want to relax or I can turn the opositon up if I want to go the military route. Haven't encountered any crashes or bugs and while there is still a lot of content missing (it IS early access), the game is imminently playable as is.
