I started with The Witcher 1 when it first came out (seems like eons ago) and I remember it being the toughest game I had ever played. But, I found myself coming back for more until I finally beat it. The witcher series has gotten easier over the last two releases... whether it was because I was better at it or because it was made easier... well, I might not ever know. What I do know is that Blood and Wine is, without a doubt, the most brilliant "expansion" I have ever purchased for a game in my many years of PC gaming. It isn't just an expansion...it is like a whole new game filled with amazing content, surprises, quests, etc. I have been in awe (and I'm not done with it yet). What a satisfying ending to an amazing series. My only wish is that the fine folks who made this series would reconsider and find a way to bring us The Witcher 4! There is still so much left to discover about this incredible time and place. It just seems a shame to let it all end now. If you haven't played The Witcher series and you enjoy RPGs (or gaming in general) you would be missing out on an amazing journey if you didn't add it to your collection. @Projekt Red: Thanks for many years of incredible gaming with The Witcher series. Watching your company evolve along with this amazing game has been an honor. I'm glad I was there to support you while it happened. Your Writers, Artists, and everyone involved with this game deserve the highest of praise. And, I can just hope...that if it's not The Witcher... you will find another unexplored land to turn into a place for us to go and escape the real world if just for awhile. Again, Many Thanks!
I really don't have much to say... Graphics: Beautiful. Story: Awesome. Gameplay: Phenomenal. Replayability: Endless. I can't even play any other RPGs now because I am so spoiled. CDProjekt Red totally hit one out of the park with this game. If you are an RPG fan and don't have The Witcher series in your collection you are missing out on one of the best made series ever (IMHO). The Witcher 3 was an epic end to an amazing series. Buy it. Play it.
