Cyberpunk 2077

A flawed yet still amazing game

I want to preface my review by stating that the game has been released with quite a few bugs and quality of life features missing. I acknowledge this is the case but still award 5 stars, even though the game can still significantly improve through patches. That being said, I had an amazing time with the game. The Character development systems are amazing and very deep, allowing for great customization of gameplay. I have been confronted with situations where I had wished my character had been built differently so I could try another path to resolution. To me that shows the flexibility and motivates me to attempt another playthrough with a different build. The characters you meet in the game are truly amazing and felt alive. I found myself caring for them and hoping that nothing bad would happen to them. After I finished the game I was emotionally drained and still truly happy. The fact that a game can make me feel that way is simply astonishing. If you own a PC that can run this game I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone that loves deep customization, a gripping story, truly unique and fascinating characters, as well as choices that matter. Maybe you want to wait a bit for more patches to be released, but even if you want to play it right now, I would still encourage you to do so. I am infinitely hopeful for future content, patches and DLC to be released. If CP2077 is going to develop anything like the Witcher 3 did then we are in for an absolute treat. For me this game saved the year 2020.
