I enjoy playing Smugglers V- it includes turn-based combat and allows for several different professions, each of which can involve very different strategies. Starting from a small ship to growing a large empire is awesome. The gameplay is forgiving so it won't be too hard to pick up for a new player. My main critiques are that the writing quality is poor with so many mistakes that at times it makes certain events a little unclear (did I just hire those pirates to attack my enemies, or my friends?) and combat can be a bit click-intensive. However, I'm still glad I made the purchase and will likely continue to play this game for a long time.
