Warlords Battlecry 3 is a truly magnifecent game and IMO best RTS/RPG mix ever created. As an RTS it has 16(!) races - from usual ones like Dwarves or Orcs to stuff like all-devouring swarm of monstrous insects/arachnyds (usually present in sci-fi, not fantasy) or a nation of minotaurs. And while balance between them is not ideal (poor Wood Elves...) it is much better than you can expect. As an RPG it presents a massive number of classes, skills and magic schools - MUCH more that modern AAA-class RPG usually have. The setting have some really interesting ideas while lacking this annoying "HUMANS ARE THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE" thing that present in so many fantasy games. While the game itself is amazing, the Russian version is really bad. It's based on the disc version from Akella yet have bugs that wasn't present there. The most annoying to me is that a lot of texts (like campaign missions descriptions, "tips of the day", loading screen lore etc.) are quite glitchy with parts of them being outside of their message box and parts being completely skipped. Texts for quests (from mausoleums and the like) look like an unholy spawn of Google Translate and have random English words in them. Despite game version is shown as 1.03 it lacks the new Dark Elves buildings added in the patch, through atleast this can be fixed by taking a couple of files from the English version. I had very high opinion on GOG before and very disappointed that they sell such a half-assed localization.
