Spoiler alert!! In the stories of Breath of Fire, Ryu is silent mostly, with a few times in one and some emotional responses in 3 as a child. In this story, again we find our protagonist silent while Fou-Lu speaks like a Shaespearan scholar. In fact, it's almost as if the good ending should be with Fou-Lu since him and Ryu are one. Due to this, the story goes away from BoFIII and I didn't like the dragon outside of the body animations though really creative. If only the developers made Ryu speak, but die-hard fans will, of course not mind. It's fun with a lot of mini-games that sometimes can be annoying. I like Ryu and Fou-Lu and the party with different unique skills. The animation where Fou-Lu walks away from a fight is a clear indication of his power. Enjoy.
