Hollow Knight: Silksong

Far harder, more acrobatic Hollow Knight

I played through whole of Hollow Knight (except last pantheon) multiple times, I even managed to do steel soul on my fifth attempt with all non-godhome content done. But I still struggle a LOT in this game, but that's mostly because skill ceiling is rather high here, new moves open up new possibilities and some of them (mainly diagonal down-attack) take a bit of getting used to. Apart from that everything is just like Hollow knight or even better: Music is incredible, game looks gorgeous and it even feels like game is even bigger than HK (and I'm not remotely done yet). Just one small gripe is that I enjoyed silent protagonist more, but that's really minor. Rest assured, if you liked Hollow Knight and don't mind bump of difficulty, you'll like this.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky - Enhanced Edition

Inferior version

I was excited for remaster (I already owned original, so I got it for free), even if it meant small changes, bug fixes etc. but removing language I played original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in is a deal breaker for me, making it inferior version. I'm glad they at least kept original versions, so you can freely choose which one to install, unlike few other remakes/remasters, so at least you can freely choose.

Secret Agent HD

Blast from the past

One of my favorite games from childhood, it didn't even need any remaster, but having simpler way to play it on modern systems is great, having achievements is also neat. But if you don't feel any nostalgia for it, it might seem a bit clunky/less forgiving compared to modern platformers.

Control Ultimate Edition

Great game, glad for GOG release

Overall great game with creepy atmosphere. Pros: - great gunplay - very reminescent of SCP with how even mundane things seem creepy - release on GOG was the thing that pushed me to purchase it - visually stunning - side missions were as interesting as main ones Cons: - I couldn't care less for random loot, game would be better without it, having insted branching upgrades would do the same thing better in my opinon - extra content being exclusive to console
