This is what worked for me. Step 1: Set custom default executable in "Configure" options to "gangsters.exe". For some reason, the default executable is set to GOG's own .exe file that breaks everything. Optional if you're having, issues like no text in the menus, follow the other steps. Step 2: Install fix mods from PCGamingWiki Step 3: Verify/Repair files. The fix mods still work, but the game crashes until you verify files afterward. P.S. Some people had luck disabling Vsync/Gsync and running in compatibility mode.
