If you want to have some insane LAN party fun, get this game. It was by far our most played LAN game in the early 2000s. I actually only recently played the campaign. The single player is fun, I just wish there was more of it. The multiplayer is the real magic here. I've yet to experience a game that beats it for pure, simple gory fun. Maybe UT99, but that's about it.
Only buy if you're a completionist. The DLC is long, boring and monotonous. I really wish GOG would carry the normal version. I'll be replaying my Steam copy of the original in the meantime.
