I mean what is there to say, RE2 is a timeless classic. Sure, RE1 is credited as the genesis of the entire survival horror genre, but RE2 certainly refined and built upon it. It's easily one of the best sequels a game could have. A more cinematic story, improved survival and combat mechanics, better boss fights, iconic voice acting, and introduction of 2 more legendary characters to the franchise - Leon and Claire. GOG did a good job preserving the game in as close to original state as possible, but easily accessible on modern PCs and compatible with modern controllers. Noticed some graphics settings on launch too, could set Antialiasing and Anisotropic Filtering, which makes the game look even nicer. Not sure if they were available on original PC release, but something tells AA x8 wasn't available in 1998/99. Anyway, highly recommend this game to anyone who wants to experience this survival horror classic.
