If you've heard of the Mechwarrior series of games, or come across any of Battletech's tabletop materials and were curious on the setting and what the game is about, this is a fantastic entry into the universe. Usually referred to as "HBS Battletech" in the community, it was developed by one of the original developers of the tabletop game, and this game's release marks the beginning of a larger revival in interest in Battletech in recent years. The gameplay is different from how the tabletop game's rules are, but the changes make for engaging battles. The story is compelling and the music and visuals are memorable. Its worth a try for anyone who enjoys a good strategy game, or likes the idea of Game of Thrones-style political conflict punctuated with giant robots.
