Enjoying the game very much, gameplay and mechanics are really good, but the story is why I give it 5/5 stars. I generally love Remedy games because they are different and unique, and Control did not dissapoint so far...
...Is the usual reaction after a session. AoW, Civ, HoMM and X-Com. The classic "Just one more turn" games, just pick your flavor. Right now, it's AoW3 for me with high fantasy and a dash of steampunk. Can't go wrong with classics.
Gameplay loop is fun, plot and VA are 'meh' at best, I really enjoy the character progression (skill points not being used to purchase skills but as a pool for unlocked skills to equip is really interesting; not much loot per mission but it's generally good; 4 different character builds from start). So far its enjoyable as casual fun on normal difficulty.
