Alan Wake is propably the best game Remedy has published to date. It's a brilliant story-based psychological thriller with innovative combat and an interesting episodic way of story-telling. Heavily influenced by Stephen King, the game is just creepy enough, and also has some great humor and references to Remedy's previous games. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exciting single-player experience. The PC port is well made, and comes with all of the DLC.
This game is worth buying just because of the one-liners. If that's not enough for you there's plenty of interactive objects in the world and the gameplay is great. There is also a high resolution pack avaiable for better graphics.
