Cyberpunk 2077

A great game with issues

- Turn off film grain or your game will look very blurry. I have no idea why they have this on by default, it makes the game look terrible. - So far I have had no framerate issues but I know a lot of people have, so set your graphical settings to low or mid until the game is better optimised. - Set 'Cascading Shadows Resolution' to mid, low or even turn it off to improve performance. - Obviously, turn off motion blur. - Turn off 'Chromatic Aberration' so the game looks sharper. - It plays better with a controller.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Game of the generation

That's right, I said it. This game is the game of today's generation of gaming. The story telling is amazing. You feel as if everything you do has meaning and this extends to the side quests as well. Unlike most modern open world games, the side quests in this game are all very good and feel meaningful. They have great stories of their own so you are always out looking for more. The main story is quite long but well worth it with some very interesting protagonists and antagonists alike. The world changes by your will. Everything you do will shape what happens next in the story and how it affects main characters and minor characters alike. The combat is full of flow and involves both reflexes and strategy, along with the right tools for the right job. It feels very satisfying, though one minor complaint is that the weapons sometimes don't feel like they have weight to them when swung around. Get this game, it is essential.

Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

Game of the Century

GOG is amazing. They have a version of Fallout 3 that does not freeze, crash or lag which the Steam version has. Other than that, this game is what defines open world games for me. The map is huge, your choices matter very heavily and you can do some downright insane things (like eating a baby) too if you want. If you ever need a game that will suck dozens of hours of your life away, look no further than this.
