It's a little grindy, making hospitals over and over again with minor differences, but anyone who enjoys sim management games would probably enjoy this. It's goofy, but amusing, and the challenges and goals provide enough variety to keep it interesting.
I am really liking this game, the graphics are cute, the story is decent (though nothing too special or detailed) so far, the addition of pets is fun, I like collecting resources and leveling etc. That said, you do have to grind a decent amount, both to get resources for feeding your pet to level it, as well as upgrading your gear, plus money (for crafting/upgrading+buying items), and the points for leveling yourself. But there's also a letter grade, plus time, for each Ilcyon you fight, which does make it a more fun, trying to get the S+ and beating your best time. Overall simplistic but fun game, would rec to those who don't require detailed plotlines or mind grinding.
I enjoy playing this game; I like when games take the spin on things of playing evil against the "heroes," though it's not exactly unique it's the less common approach, which gives it an edge. Striving to beat the adventurers with the best combos of your monsters while managing money/blood/tears to use to the best adventage takes some effort: will you upgrade traps or monsters, dare you risk taking the deal from the event, what action will give you the most cash, etc. It keeps things interesting. That said, if you dislike grinding you may hate this, as you are pretty much just repeating the same things over and over - choosing your teams for battles and picking between the couple options of actions each week.
I really enjoyed playing this. The battle system could have been slightly improved (which apparently they've done in the sequel), but 95% of the time I didn't feel like it was tedious to play, I enjoyed trying out the different costumes and stamps for the best combinations and strategies. And the game had me constantly cracking up with the jokes and witty remarks and such; "Plot twist!" was one of my top favorites. I already went and bought the sequel because of how much fun I had with this one. And, the difficulty and humor are good for all ages. A nice gem of a game.
I really really liked this game. The art is great, the story is original, the voice acting is good, the puzzles aren't ridiculous, and Crispin has got to be my favorite game character ever! I had a blast playing this, I only wish it were longer!
