This game pretty much sums up what I love about older games. It's pure gameplay and it doesn't rely on swanky eye-candy to make the player think they're enjoying themselves. It assumes a certain level of player intelligence and doesn't dumb things down for them. Gameplay is intuitive and leaves a lot of stuff to be discovered about itself, which leads to an addictive 'just one more turn' style game. The only criticism I could level is that the graphics are a bit dated, however I do believe this is currently part of the game's charm for me as well. All in all, the best 5 bucks I've spent in a long time.
