I remember playing this game years and years ago. Ever since, I have forgotten what it was called and have been looking for it since. This game is absolutely great. It's far from perfect, but it's still loads of fun. I didn't like how no one else moved unless you moved, but I still remember spending countless hours on this game just screwing around. God how I missed this game.
This game was great. Lots of graphical improvements (mostly animation-wise), and lots of new content. Some things removed. Still, lots of fun. But honestly, it isn't worth $10. I'd say $5 at most.
This game tried to be something it isn't - good. It tried too hard. The graphics were fairly decent, I'll admit, and some new things here and there gave a nice new change. But overall, I feel like it failed to become as good as its predecessor - if not better. And I am not very good at making long, detailed reviews, but I am sure most HoMM fans agree with me when I say that HoMM III was far better than this one.
This game is a classic. I literally started playing it since it came out. It was one of the greatest games I have ever played. It had humour, it had amazing gameplay, and it kept me busy for hours. They seriously don't make games like this anymore, which is a shame. :(
