I actually have this in a minty fresh box on my shelf. For what it is it makes for a decent enough little adventure. Yes, it's clunky and kinda awkward but, like I said, it's not half bad. =)
SHOGO was the first ever FPS I managed to play all the way through to the end. It hooked me completely. Normally you'd have found me tinkering with the inventory of some RPG or other but once I got going on this one I really couldn't stop. There's just something about it that works so well. The colors, the sounds, the feel of your big-arsed robot as you darted around, trying to stay alive. It all just came together really well in this one. It's highly recommended if you like old shooters.
