Roguebook

Solid Fun!

This game allows creative building with challenging progression if desired.

Warpips

Fun Front and Center

The emphasis for this game was on fun, and it definitely brought heaps of it. I loved war pips! Planning and macro are the name of the game here, with a light bit of micro.

Cardpocalypse

Sufficiently Fun Cards, Woke Story

The card game is fun, but not remarkably so. The story is woke. A paraplegic girl teams up with a half-hispanic half-african girl to take on several obnoxious white boys, while bystandards make subtle jokes about being lesbian.

Guild of Ascension

Nope, not doing that

Played it for as long as it felt worth it

Ruiner

Superb

Ruiner has neither the best story ever, nor much depth. Even so, it is among the greatest games ever made. Featuring streamlined combat mechanics and high difficulty, Ruiner punishes the casual and rewards the skilled player. Polished movement skills allow an adept player to overcome enemies at every difficulty, while clumsy or slow players will find themselves dying brutally, and receiving mockery from the game itself. These streamlined mechanics allow you to enjoy insane precision of techniques and get into the "zone" creating more fun for the talented player. Poor or casual players will hate this game. Quick witted players with reflexes, on the other hand, will struggle to find a title in a while that is as mechanically sound.

Sunrider Academy

Should have listened to the reviews

I loved the Mask of Arcadius so I bought this game on sale. The game is insanely difficult with arbitrary failures that force you to restart. Rather than feeling like you've accomplished something, it's a source of frustration. Further, the game is a grind, and so when you do have to restart, the grind ahead of you looks rightfuly daunting. It's a poorly designed game. Worst of all, the main character is completely unrelatable; he is a total cuck. Gamma wish fulfillment.

Advent Rising

Just... Wow...

Beautiful game! Excellent Story! Probably the best third person shooter I have ever played, and hands down the most entertaining. Playing this game with THX speakers and an amazing graphics card was a BLAST!!!! The sound is amazing and the graphics get really impressive. The story drags you in too. There were some minor camera problems... I think the psychic powers much have given him cp symptoms because he wiggles a whole lot sometimes. Vehicle controls were interesting, and I didn't like them, but the abilities you get, and some of the guns as well, are unique and extremely entertaining to mess around with. I loved this game. Sequel? Probably not.. but damn I wish...

ARMA: Cold War Assault

The Biggest Pain in the @$$...

...but it hurst SOOOO good.... This game is extremely difficult. It's not the tedious, ridiculously hard, impossible puzzle sort of difficult, but rather the purest form of difficult, the one that leaves you saying, "Wow, I did it" afterward. If you have a hard time being patient, this game could be very frustrating for you because you WILL die, A LOT. Pros - Simple, user friendly interface - The most realistic FPS ever made - Great missions with a real feel to them - Superior tactics are rewarded in this game, in fact, they are the only way to survive (win? Who said anything about winning in this game, you're just out to survive and that is hard enough. Win? Don't make me laugh) - The graphics are dated, however the shadow effects help redeem that and give it a real feel. Cons -My @$$ hurts... owie... XD - Grenade to the face.... again.... well, time to start over - Fire, fire, fire, click, click, click... Owie... (you can't move while reloading you just stand there and do it) ACTUAL CONS - Only 1 save per mission (use it wisely) BONUS FUN: Frustrated with your enemies? If you can't beat them, join them. Try to take out your own squad before they realize you've betrayed them and take you out... It's challenging =)) so much so that you'll forget all about the enemies that are being a pain in the @$$ =))

Chaser

Awkwardness up the Wahzoo!

I am very disappointed with this game right now, because I can't get past the first level. The problem is in the controls being excessively awkward. I can't seem to time my crouch with my jump to super jump while still moving forward. That being said graphics and soundtrack of this game are both respectable. Minute details make for a splendid experience such as your shells/casings, landing on the ground at your feet after firing, and ricocheting bullets. ...I just wish I had something better control wise (like not requiring a super jump with such awkwardness to even use it)
