I expect alot from my RPG's and this delivers in spades: I was engaged by the story and the world. It had a good start and continued strongly thoughout I loved the characters. Sir Capon was very much a highlight. The quests were engaging - they somehow managed to be fairly unique and interesting throughout! The combat was very rewarding. You could fight a guy for 5 minutes, every second intense and worthwhile. Your progression felt real. I still dont know if it was my skill (behind the keyborad) increasing or my character getting better, but i really felt i went from someone who hadnt held a sword before to a reasonably powerful human - but i still had to run away if 3 or more peasants tried to jump me! Overal a great game. If you are on the fence but like your RPGs - pick it up! I got over 40 hours out of it and enjoyed every moment.
