This game, is similar to the very old Metal gear game (not Metal gear solid, just Metal Gear) but it doesn't take itself seriously at all. The stealth element are here, and all the element of what make metal gear what it is, but have a funny turn of event with all of that. The game is packed with references to other games, and also break the fourth wall. The gameplay is nicely done and is balanced with infiltration and puzzle solving, with some epic boss fight. Some of the interaction will let you choose what to say, and do not be affraid to choose something stupid. And the story ? Well, play the entire game to know exactly what's going on. It's a game worth playing and have some fun on multiple level, whether you enjoy the game, or having a good laugh at the humour.
Really awwesome and classic pod race game in the Star Wars Universe. Works perfectly well, the game handles VERY well, the speed sensation is top tier. You have the choices of plenty of character with their own unique vehicle, you can buy part to make your vehicle better to win more races. A must have if you like racing game and/or Star Wars games.
This game is just one of the old classic platformer. In this game you play Rayman, and follow the adventure to defeat the hoodlums, and their boss André. The humor is on par, the character goofy, and the game still hold visually today. I recomment this one if you want to play a good classic platformer.
This game is a really simple formula: You put things in your fireplace, and burn them. Some of them will do some specific effect when you burn them. And the goal is to find some combo of stuff to burn based on a simple description. And the story just unfold in front of your eyes nicely. Not much else to say, just sit down, and enjoying your chill game.
The title says it all, if you've played Ace combat 7 and loved it, you will love this game. It's a arcade air combat game were you play as a pilot proving itself through all the story, a story where stuff goes south VERY quick. You play a good amount of mission, from air or ground escort, bombing targets, dogfighting in multiple area and weather. The game is nice, smooth and satisfying to control. There is nothing else to say, if you want to play an arcade Plane fighting game, feeling like the god of the skies, looks no further and take this game.
An amazing game from the Metro series, the story of Artyom continue in the irradiated Metro of Moscow... Or somewhere else ? This iteration of the serie try to adapt a bit the series to the Open world genre and it does it well. The bullet currency is now finished, and you'll have to find some ressources and craft your bullets and gas mask filter to survive in the Russian wastelands. All the weapon are customizable to fit more your playstyle and it can be changed on the fly if necessary. The story is satisfying to follow without being transcendant with the Karma points back, but this time, easier to figure out. The characters are sympathetic to hear talk, they's often tell a lot about the world lore. The gameplay is different from what it was originally but nice and sometimes reminded me of the STALKER series too. However, sometimes it can be unfair: Headshot not being registered, ennemies shooting you from kilometers away and putting every single bullet in you with some crappy weapon. But overall, I recommend 100% that game, It's amazing, great and fun to play and overall very good.
So I decided to play this game after hearing a lot about it, and I must admit, I was very nicely surprised by it. The story is really nice and has some surprise elements, characters are good, and even better in the DLC. The gameplay remind me a bit of monster hunter playing the bow. And the environement are simply gorgeous. Some of the element are difficults and can be frustrating, especially the hunter trials with some ridiculous objectives. But however it's a great game, that I trully enjoyed, the story is good all the way throught and stay entertaining. Howerver, the ENORMOUS problem here, is the fact, not only it's NOT DRM free, but when you read the confidentiality chart is OUTRAGEOUS and VERY AGGRESSIVE DATA COLLECTION, almost spyware like. But you have NO CHOICE regarding the data you send, and there is NO OPTIONS to say "I do not want to send ANY data". So be VERY careful with that and know what's going on here.
Title says it all. This game is a nice FPS in the Terminator universe, as you play a soldier who is trying to survive, with is friends at the apocalypse created with Skynet. Game as nice gameplay element were you can tinker with your weapon, create DIY excplosives to fight the robots that can range to a regular terminator, to a small silverfish or be HUGE bipedal tank. The fight mechanics are nice and you need to be careful not to take more than you can chew. But sometimes, fighting is a lost cause, and you have to stealthily dodge them. You have allies in this game, and they count on you, and you need to listen to them, it will give you element of their backstory and you'll learn more about them as it is an important story element. And the story is really good, and the Annihilation line DLC really enhance that. There are a few flaws thought. Melee and weapon seems weak, un-impactful. Melee looks like you just wave a pipe, and some weapon sound are maybe a bit too weak. But those are minor points, and the game is still good if you're looking at a Terminator RPG FPS that sometimes, remind a bit of Metro Exodus.
This game is a really cute and nice game, that would remind you of the paper Mario series, especially the thousand year door one. This game, doesn't re-invent the formula and don't pretend to do so, but it take what exist already and is working, and apply it on their own story with their own character, and it works very well. In this game, you take the control of a small bug adventurer team throught their stories, the humour is funny, the combat system is simple to get your hands on, but can be challenging if you play in hard mode (which I recommend, because the added challenge makes you think about how to approach the engagements with the ennemies). You get really easely attached to the characters, and the music are simply sublimes. The artstyle is really cartoony, and I get that and it's really cute, but sometimes when you look in details at the texture, and the edges of the model, you feel that they could have made a tiny bit more. But it's still nice to watch and only get's to you when you watch attentively. I 100% recommend this game if you like the genre.
A classic plateformer game from the PS1/N64 Era, the game is really good, not too hard, not too easy with some moment that will require all your attention. It's as classic as it get, jump around in different levels, find all the cage and destroy them, find all the lums, and defeat the pirate along the way. Some minor point can be annoying, sometime the camera can get stuck in a corner and cannot move out. It's impossible to remap the control, so for French keyboard user it can be annoying and the newest controler (Xbox one for me) doesn't work for the game and I had to play throught only using keyboard (which is annoying, but far from being impossible, I finished the game 100% only using the keyboard) Would recommend 100%
