I'll start with the good - the game has nice story, decent gunplay and the world is somewhat interesting. And rest is a total mess. The neverending chase for the "next gen graphics" makes this game run bad while also looking bad. No ammount of fine tunning the settings allows it to run smooth, it always dips down here and there. The other problem that is the consequence of the above is all kind of weird limitations that are most likely in place for the game to even start at consoles. Field of View (FOV) limitations are one of the most aggressive and annoying I've seen in a first person shooter game. For me, the FOV literally makes it unable to play the game, as I'm getting motion sickness from the shifting FOV. Because while there is an option in the menu to set the FOV to 100, it is only when you're in control and only in first person. When the cutscene kicks in, the FOV (for unfathomable reason for me) shift back to whatever the default is, making me sick to the stomack. The same happens when you get inside a car - I can't drive them in first person because it simply makes me sick. The most baffling part is that there is doze (pointless and frankly completely useless) options to "solve motion sickness" problems, but without proper FOV control these do absolutely nothing than try to cover the issue. And because of the above I can't really talk about the game in detail more, because quite frankly it is still broken on the most basic settings levels. Yes, you can (maybe) try to tinker with FOV with mods, but mine broken randomly and refuses to work. And I shouldn't have to do this. This should have been in the game from the very start. Fix your game.
