The game is generally average and surpassed by the other games from which it draws inspiration. It's a grind-based roguelike. It was generally pretty enjoyable watching the game grow through EA, then they released it and dropped a paid-for DLC which resolves core game bugs/issues. The expansion is a blatant cash-grab on top of a game which barely exited EA, if you can consider it finished. It's a good waste of 5hours tops before you're more or less seen it all, as there is little more than the grind through several story triggers, with the story being exceedingly shallow.
