The game worth it's price in a few words. Graphics: The pixel art might looks wet but it's good with an ok draw style and atmosphere. Gameplay: - You have to like side-scrolling games - It requires a Joypad - It takes time to get used to the game's controllers, especially if you played Tony Hawk's game before - The trick accuracy sounds fair to real tricks, but the game itself has some commands precision issues like not computing tricks or taking grinds Game design: The game design is simple, but it's pleasant. The only complaint goes for the paralax. I feel dizzy everytime I play more than 5 minutes, as though everything was spinning and getting distorced around me.
The uknown aurea arround the game, the mysterious things you discover as you get deeper and deeper into the bureau gets you thinking non-stop "What am I doing?", but you don't get lost as the game smoothly shows you what to do, also add new enemies accoding to the history progression without getting you unsurprised or bothered. About the whole world (involving Alan Wake and this game), I don't know much, but what the game shows through files and dialogues gets you involved and immersively into the Game's word for sure. The Combat and the mechanics are not complex, tho not easy as you must show the least skills to battle. One of the best games I paid for in months.
Well, this game is stunning with good mechanics, lacks of exhastuing dialogues, and so present you to the world without getting you annoyed with tons of texts or non-sensed content, just straight to the point. The monocromatic colours fits as though it could never be nothing different but this. I'm way happy that I bought this game.
