I have bought this game three times over the past ten years. Why? Because I keep losing the gods-damned CDs! Now, with GOG, I can play without fears of losing or scratching the many CDs that came with the box edition. The fact that I have bought it so many times speaks of its exceptional reply value and diverse content. It is truly a game unlike any other, with enjoyable characters, exceptional setting, masterful story, and excellent role-playing possibilities. But the title insinuates a flaw and it is this: This game is 10 years old. The graphics are out-dated and look terrible, some of the interface programmes are annoying, and the combat system isn't exactly action packed. That said, I still gave this game 5 stars for two reasons: One, the other content more than makes up for its flaws, and if you are willing to do a little work those flaws can be partly mitigated with mods. Two, there is simply no other game out there like this one, with the exception of the first BG or Planescape, but those flaws that I pointed out are even more magnified in those titles.
