There is a bit of a learning curve with Baldur's Gate. Learning THAC0 will help immensly, it can be confusing but once you get it you get it. The rules set for 2nd Edition can be rough and draconian but managable. Ive stopped and started this game numerous times, but I keep coming back to it. It is one of those CPRGs that you should finish. One of these days I'll be able to put my money where my mouth is.
